Everquest has a system of Time with day and night cycles. The time of day affects many things, most notably certain NPCs pathing or Spawns based around in game time.

There are also days, months, and year increments.

Day and Night

Classic night begins at 6 PM. Classic daytime begins at 6 AM.[1]

A non-Classic day/night cycle occurred at 8 AM / 8 PM, which existed on Project 1999 before the year 2020.
