Iksar Timeline
The following timeline has been compiled as a best estimate based on available lore on the Iksar.
B.G.: No record of Before Green. The Iksar were enslaved by the Shissar for ages. Whatever they had before the Shissar came is lost to history.
0 A.G: The Greenmist destroys the Shissar. Emperor Ssraeszha escapes to Luclin with his temple and whatever Shissar were inside, and a small number of Iksar slaves. The Iksar on Kunark are freed.
0-300 A.G: The Five Tribes - Nathsar, Jarsath, Obulus, Kunzar, and Kylong, grow in power.
c313 A.G: Venril Sathir becomes Warchief of the Kunzar and begins his campaign to conquer, assimilate, and therefore unite the five tribes
c350 A.G: The united tribes become the Empire of Ik under Venril Sathir. Sebilis completed.
c355 A.G.: Kurn's Tower is built.
c360 A.G.: Tynn comes to Sebilis. The Court of Pain is established.
c370 A.G: Rile discovers Venril's plot, kills him, and becomes Emperor, pushing Drusella from the throne.
406 A.G: Rile's navy sails for Faydwer. Trakanon and his followers attack and destroy the navy at sea. Rile perishes in battle, along with Vizk Irontail. Atrebe becomes Emperor.
c406-456 A.G: Civil war amongst the Ring of Scale. Sarnak, Sokokar bred. Height of the Empire of Ik.
c460 A.G: Ring of Scale reunites. Iksar-Dragon War begins. Atrebe steps down from the throne, naming Ganak Emperor.
c465 A.G.: Veksar's healing spring is poisoned with ocean salt, and the dragon Garudon sinks the city.
c500 A.G: Ganak and Jaled-Dar perish in battle. Iksar-Dragon war comes to a draw. The Ring of Scale retreats to Veeshan's Peak and Phara Dar is named leader. All eggs of the Emperor's line are destroyed. Emerald Circle formed to govern the Empire of Ik.
500-1200 A.G: Sebilisian Empire slowly falls by internal and external problems. Torsis is cursed with madness and undeath by Cazic-Thule. Goblins invade from Faydwer.
c1300 A.G: Disbanding of the Empire of Ik. Sebilis taken by Trakanon. Iksar tribal-states weaken. Goblins take control of Karnor's Castle. Slave revolts push the Iksar out of their cities. The Di'Zok Empire is founded.
1312 A.G: The Crusades of Rok Nilok.
1406 A.G: The first Greenmist blade is forged, based on the design of Rile's Khukri.
c1800 A.G: Venril Sathir is reincarnated in the body of Rile. He and his servants go into hiding in the swamplands, in a fortress called Varis.
c1850 A.G: First attempt of High Elven establishment on Kunark. The Frogloks of the southern forests and swamplands force the elves to retreat.
c2050 A.G.: Venril Sathir amasses enough force to come out of hiding. He takes control of Castle Karnor and declares it the base of his new Empire. Drusella Sathir is resurrected.
c2075 A.G.: The Dark Elves establish an outpost in the Overthere. Venril Sathir immediately takes control of the outpost.
c2100 A.G.: Vekin unites the tribes and takes Cabilis from the Goblins, making it the capital of the reborn Iksar Empire. The High Elves successfully establish an outpost in the southern forests. Firiona Vie is kidnapped by Danak Dhorentath. The High Elves declare war on the Iksar Empire. (Kunark's release, OOC)
c2189 A.G.: The Wayfarers Brotherhood opens portals to Kuua, exposing Norrath to the influence of Discord.
~... The rest is a bit of a blur, apparantly damaged... but a few notes have been added...~
Approximately 150 years before present day: The Rending shook the lot of Norrath, and our Beloved Cabilis was destroyed.
Approximately 30 years before present day: The Shattering Occurred, and ended the age of cataclysms.
